Following the rumours that a Galaxy S4 would be released sometime early next year, Samsung has quickly debunked the speculation.
The Korean company took to Twitter and set the record straight regarding the rumoured follow-up device.
“Please note that what some media reported [regarding] speculation about when the Galaxy S Ⅲ’s subsequent models will be released, is simply a rumour, and is not true. Samsung has not announced anything, why spread these rumors?” said a (translated) company tweet.
The rumours first started when an “unnamed Samsung representative” told the Korea Times that the electronics giant was looking to launch the Samsung Galaxy S4 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, with the release of the phone coming a little later.
