A new feature in Facebook Groups allows users to share files through a Dropbox account.

“To share with your Facebook group, click ‘Add File’ on the group’s page. Once you choose to link Facebook to your Dropbox account, you’ll be able to search through your Dropbox and select what you’d like to share. Docs, photos, and videos shared from Dropbox will show up on the group’s wall and can be viewed on a smartphone or tablet,” Dropbox said in a blog post.

This allows cloud-storage data be distributed among large groups, which could be suitable for businesses, educational institutions or other groups that need to spread documents or files.

The feature is currently being rolled-out and should be available to all users.
