A new study on Twitter gives an in-depth look into the users and their behaviour on the microblogging platform.

The study, conducted by Beevolve, gauges everything from how many follwers the average user has, to which background colour is most used by males and females.

The study surveyed 36 million Twitter profiles and pulled some pretty interesting findings from the stats.

One of the findings shows the OS breakdown of Twitter users, with 31.1 percent of users accessing the site through Android devices, and 68.9% through iOS.

To check out all the findings, head over to the Beevolve study page.
