LG confirmed that a Nexus device from the company would indeed be announced at Google’s 29 October Android event, according to an LG exec.

“Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29 and the phone will be available in the Indian markets by the end of November,” said LG’s mobile product planning head Amit Gujral.

No name was attatched to the device, although it’s speculated to be called the LG Nexus 4.

Previously, @evleaks released images of the rumoured device, along with a specs list.

The device is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon S4 Pro “Krait” quad-core processor, clocked at 1.5GHz; 2GB of RAM; 8MP rear-facing camera, with a 1.3MP camera on the front; along with a 2,100mAh battery.

The Google Android event will take place on Monday, 29 October and will be streamed live from the Android YouTube channel on the day.
