Apple’s Scott Forstall, Senior Vice President of iOS, is slated to leave Apple in the near future, and the departure is said to be related to Forstall refusing to sign an apology.

According to sources, Forstall has been axed over the refusal to sign and present an apology letter over the problems surrounding Apple Maps.

Forstall was said to believe that an apology wasn’t necessary, leaving Cook himself to sign the letter.

Forstall wasn’t the only casualty in the Apple shake-up, as head of retail John Browett is also leaving the company next year.
