HD component maker, Analogix, has announced its new line of SlimPort accessories for Google’s recently-unveiled LG Nexus 4 smartphone.

SlimPort allows users to connect their Nexus 4 to an external HD display.

The SlimPort device uses the microUSB port on the smartphone, with an HDMI adaptor to connect to any HDTV or monitor.

“Whether enjoying games, photos and videos your way or presenting to a large audience, SlimPort accessories add endless value to your smartphone,” said Vice President of Marketing for Analogix Semiconductor Andre Bouwer.

Four SlimPort accessories are slated for release, allowing you to connect your Nexus 4 to either HDMI, VGA, DVI, or DisplayPort.
