The Yoyo is no gaming mouse but it sure gets the job done
For the frequent traveller a compact, lightweight, easy to use and most importantly reliable mouse is an essential for any business trip.
MyBroadband put Lexma’s Yoyo, to the test to see if it could match up to the demands of a busy schedule.
The Lexma AR585, also referred to as the Lexma Yoyo, is a solid optical mouse manufactured with the travelling business user in mind. It’s embedded single pull retractable USB mechanism made it convenient and easy to carry in the average laptop case. Typically travel mice can become cumbersome due to excess USB cables and connections – this is why many users opt for wireless versions. These can however be costly and are often unreliable due to driver or battery issues.
The Yoyo comes out tops in this department because, although it incorporates a wired design, the user need not worry about cable breakage and clutter or power issues.
The Yoyo features a solid build quality based on a typical three button design. Its USB 2.0 driverless interface also means that it is fast and easy to use.
Although it’s no Roccat Kova or Microsoft Sidewinder the Yoyo certainly gets the job done. Within its price range (R113) there are few other models which are able to match up.
