Openweb launches its ‘Free Calls Beta’ service, offering subscribers free landline calls to South Africa and 66 other countries

Internet Service Provider (ISP) Openweb recently launched their ‘Free Calls Beta’ service which allows subscribers to call landlines in South Africa and 66 other countries free of charge.

“This is not PC to PC calling like Skype. This is much better! This is PC to Phone calling,” explains Openweb founder Keoma Wright.

This new service is a value-add to all active OpenWeb ADSL account holders, but the ISP warns that the service is current in Beta stage and that it may be changed or discontinued at any time.

This free calling service from Openweb comes on the back of various other innovative offerings from the ISP, including its 384 Kbps and 512 Kbps Uncapped ADSL Gold upgrade for R29 per month and its 4 Mbps Gold upgrade priced at R99 per month.
