I once sent an email to a collegue of mine sayings what a **** my boss was, needless to say, I accidently put in my boss's email address instead of my friends. My boss was sitting about 8m away from me at his PC, and we were on a local exchange server, so mail delivery was instant... guess how fast I got to the exchange server and pulled the power plug?
I pulled it as Outlook told him there was a message from me, he asked me what it was because Outlook said it can't display the message.... Told him I had no clue what message he was talking about.
Had to boot the server up off the network, and manually delete the message, thank goodness it was a DC as well.

All I can say is that I firmly believe that these people do not represent the majority of the white population in this country.
It is a good thing that this woman is pursuing the case through the courts.

This thread has been a laugh, but I hope the boss gets what he deserves. Yes, in some instances I am a rascist, but I still like to see justice done and there is a limit to my rascism.
Hopefully I haven't sent any SMS's to the wrong person that I know of yet..:p

Ok, this is a serious question, coz I can't believe anyone would actually say that only whites can be racist. Could you point me to a couple of these threads where somebody's said blacks can't be racists?
It's not a "statement" being made, it's a subtle difference in wording being used when blacks are doing it. So that you almost never hear about black racists even though they are doing the EXACT same thing for which a white person is called racist. It's considered that if you were oppressed at some stage based on race that you mysteriously are immune to racism.....

Someone once posted a definition of racism that said it was a belief that whites were superior to other races. Can't remember when or where it was from, though I do seem to remember that it was the definition as taught in schools.
I do get the impression that the general consensus amongst blacks is that racism is something that only white people can be guilty of.

All I can say is that I firmly believe that these people do not represent the majority of the white population in this country.

Much of the litigation and petty concerns we have today are simple a symptom of WW3 being temporarily delayed.
Since WW2 we are currently experiencing the longest period of world peace in history it will end one of these days.
When neighbors start eating each other over a lack of resources and over population then name calling won’t seem so important.
Remember there are lots of little criminals out there, many fighting to lead their country. The next guy will probably make the Austrian look like a nice guy.
Set up a special court for name calling and the guilty must then publicly apologise.
Old English saying "Don't write it if you can say it, and don't say it if you can wink"

I think that local conflict, whether part of a global conflict or not, has more of an impact on people's lives. Are you suggesting that there have been no local conflicts (war or not) that might have made this into a more sensitive issue than it really needs to be?

The providers have to keep sms logs for a certain amount of time (think it's a month or so) for legal reasons such as this one. I think it'd be interesting to see how many racist and sexist sms are sent per month...

I think racism is nothing more than hating/discriminating (against) someone because of their skin colour.
So...Affirmitive Action is racism.

I think BEE solved that problem more than AA did. Biggest issue with BEE is that there are a few back people that benefit hugely from it as you said. Rich get richer. Problems start to occur when AA (EE) forces unqualified people into job.
EE influences employment on skin colour. This, by definition, is racism.
