Just a couple from the list:
Top 300 Black Economic Empowerment Companies
Eskom was awarded a Top 300 Black Economic Empowerment Companies certificate by Impumelelo Top Publishing.
Productivity award
Eskom Transmission (Northern Region) was a finalist in the 2001 Productivity awards of the National Productivity Institute (NPI). They received a certificate of recognition for an outstanding achievement in productivity improvement.
Leadership in Practice award
Eskom's chairman became the 12th recipient of the Leadership in Practice (LIP) award. This award has been made annually by the Unisa School of Business Leadership since 1989.

Awww come on guys...
They are productive. They've managed to fsck a 1st-world nationwide infrastructure in less than 14 years. Thats a HUGE achievement.

All these awards are compared to what!?! In a ONE horse race, there can only be ONE winner!

Top 300? Top 30 might be something to be proud of.
Productivity award

2001 - long time ago. And it's not all of Eskom, it's Transmission, and only the Northern Region. And they were a finalist not the winner.
Plus, an "outstanding achievement" might be relative to expectations, and in any case, "productivity improvement" only says they improved, not that they were respectably productive afterwards.
In fact, the entire article doesn't mention any years more recent than 2001.
