Apparently 5 white EX-Escom guys had to go back to Escom early this week to replace guys that couldnt "opperate" the flow of electricity to the private sector in the correct manner( this apparently was also part of the Black-Outs probs we endured )...Anyone here heard the full story?
Some info although not all of it..but a start ---> http://www.moneyweb.co.za/mw/view/mw/en/page38?oid=191191
Eskom's Brian Dames will take over as Managing Director of a new combined department made up of Primary Energy (which sources fuel), Generation and Enterprise Division.
Eskom has removed the man in charge of its power stations from his job. The Business Report reports that Ehud Matya has been replaced by Brian Dames, who will now be responsible for primary energy, power plants and his existing portfolio of capital investment

I do not doubt that for a second.
Pity none of them get employed though. [a dash of sarcasm - I am sure one can find competent black employed staff]

Yeah. Lots. The problem is somehow they always pick the most idiotic backward dude to be a leader.
There are quite a few uber sharp blacks in my uni classes. Why the hell can't we have people like those in government?

You lack the ability to make things too "hot" for me to handle. You make it very cold. Ice-cold.
Of course, the irony is that you pull the race card right from the beginning.

Man, since these guys are back on the job i think it would be interesting to see if we are going to get power cuts again...On the news they also said that in future, if a "shedding" has to take place, the people will be notified...good news i'd say.

I guess the premise of this topic was race so RH and PP were bound to lock horns at some point.
As long as these guys dont get blocked by senior management, I see this as being a step in the right direction. Man, the ANC must be pissed off right now - its no wonder this didnt make any type of headline or mainstream press!
