Hi guys,

I stumbled across a website a while ago where you could load up a pic and it can tell you which website that pic came from. Does anyone know which website it is?

I'd be interested to know how that works.

Could you elaborate?

I'm not 100% sure how it works, but there was a woman on Facebook who had a profile with fake pictures of "herself." One of the members loaded her profile pic onto some website and revealed that the pic actually belonged to someone in the USA somewhere. The site apparently scans the image on a pixel basis and finds a similar composition of pixels on a huge database of websites. It's pretty neat. I'm trying google to find the website, but I can't think of good keywords.

I think there would be too many anomalies to consider with this unless this software was only for facial recognition?

It's not really facial recognition software, as I understand it. It basically recognizes the entire photo itself, and not necessarily the person in the photo. And based on that it shows which site the photo was originally uploaded onto. Problem is I don't remember who originally posted the link on facebook, so I can't ask him, so I thought maybe someone here might have come across it.
