last night i decided to update firmware to change the nokia n70 to n70 music edition(no hardware changes needed to be):D

Ok i was ready with all the programs..right
Firstly my first mistake was that i dont know what the firmware size was...ok,now i dont know exactly how much data bundles i had left.I guessed :D

Right now i am updating and the firmware i see that is loading on the phone is like 47.8 megs...but alas i only have 40 megs of data to use...What am i to do.

right i am biting my nails and counting each meg:D as it goes on.

during the the upgrade at 38megs a sms comes to the phone saying that there is x amount left on the bundle..I am really biting my nails now and the loading continues for the upgrade.

Another sms comes and says now money is now being deducted.
I think this sim had 12 rand on it,and that equals 6 megs in total

As the firmware reaches 47.8 exactly,my internet bombs out...err...did i make it(no bundles no airtime left)

then the second proces starts to update the phone(usually 15 mins)

For that 15 minutes i was sweating so much ,as i dont know if i made it or broke the phone....

WHat do you think happened..
Did i make it and the phone rebooted with music edition software or
Is the phone a total brick now

I bought the phone second hand just to use it as a modem..(but itchy fingers is a beeech.

what you guys and gals think

I would think that the installation would have to 'close' and finish first which takes just a little longer.

but on the grounds that you are asking us, i am going to say that the music edition software is on. and therefor you are a lucky ...
