Cape Town - At the present time, Eskom is advertising 848 positions in core, critical and scarce categories, according to a written reply given to a parliamentary question by Alec Erwin, the minister for public enterprises.

I wont trust anything Erwin says...wonder why he mentioned this...feeling guilty?

They must be recruiting like for a clandestine operation - so that nobody knows. Eskom website only has 113 careers available?

My thoughts too - I have seen very few of these specialist technical jobs advertised.
I'd also like to know if these 848 posts are reserved for AA candidates.

These include attracting the right talent both locally and internationally, including a focus on bringing skilled professionals back into the country, and creating a learning environment."

This can REALLY mean "merrit" guys if they stick to what they say.
