I didnt have insurance, had to pay 11k for engine swap...but I dont think insurance cover self blown engines due to extensive riding at top speed :p

Not sure, I think it's around R175. No accidents :-)

I only just got insurance for my bike recently.. was riding it for several months with no insurance..
A bit less than R250.00 per month :eek: - 1989 Yamaha FZR 750 Genesis ..
I know that the insurance companies have different age brackets in which you're classed according to perceived risk.. I'm 23 so I guess that counts against me.. :(
Only ever had one real accident nothing major though, when I was 17, on my Honda CG 125, I sort of never noticed that the four way intersection in front was a four way stop.. :o .. Went straight into this guys left door.. :o :o
I was only doing about 60Km/h - so I just flew in the air and landed on my rear.. :eek: bent the bikes front forks..
My 1970 Vespa Rally was only costing me R21.75 per month on insurance ! I took it off a while ago as I've not used it in quite sometime and intend to restore it before using it again... :)
