I have been wanting ADSL since it came to SA and now that i cn afford it... i find its not in my area because my area is 100% fiber optic and 0% copper...

Whats up with this? i live in Randpark Ridge in Ranbrug JHB...

ahh, telkom are full of it.
its one thing to charge so bloody much for adsl,
and another to kill its availability. if they gonna tell some minority (or majority?) that they cant get adsl on a fibre optic backbone they better come up with another solution.
