Heya, missed me?

I moved to Waterloo and didn't have internet for a week or so. I'll be living here for four months to go to university again. Waterloo has a different cable company than Georgetown (home), and here is what the deal is:

Regular price is C$45 [R240] a month for 1.5 Mbps / 192 Kbps. No cap.

Installation is free, and the modem rental is free. No deposit of any kind required.

First three months are charged at C$24.95 [R150] because I'm a new customer. So for four months I'm paying R690.

At the end of four months I just terminate my contract and there are no other charges. They take the cable modem with them.

Isn't 192kbps a little slow for your liking Jerrek [it's slower than Telkom's upload speed :p] :D..because if I remember you had a 10mbit/1mb cable connection when you were in Georgetown?

ha... you think thats cool. i got a 1mb line capped at 3gb then i get throttled to 64k and if i somehow abuse my throttling i get bitch slapped by my isp. beat that :P my isp definitly has more features then yours :D

oh i almost forgot... its a 24 month contract too but i was wiser and bought my overpriced japanese modem so i could choose to leave them month by month if they degrade and then my modem becomes a new christmas decoration.

This is old..... Wow, who pulled this up? Lol. It is now 5 Mb / 800 Kbps for Rogers and still 10/1 for Cogeco.
