I need to eat more, much more...I'm 20KG underweight and I only eat like once a day. I'm never hungry and smoking also makes it worse...
I need to make myself hungry...
ideas???

ok well cut down to half then :)
or just eat foods that pack on the kilos.
or go see a dietrician(sp?)

one shake in the morning , and in the evening.
Then u don't need to eat the extra meals. (u eat your normal meals as per normal)
So its either the shakes, or u have to eat lots of stuffs like tuna, chicken and steaks.
U don't wanna eat lots of fatty foods, cause fat makes fat. U wanna gain weights, wich u can only get from protein aka (tuna,chicken and steak, or ribs/pork)

Maybe smoke some cabbage and carrots.

eating too much protein makes you skinny! - i.e. Atkins diet. :eek:
You DO need protein, but a balance with complex carbs (brown rice, wholegrains) and those needed aminos from the protein shakes. Thats whats needed. :D
Sometimes a little force is needed to gain weight. (force yourself to eat more);)

Easy: You could consider food that tastes nice. Eat it only because it tastes nice and not because you hungry.

Cut down on smoking as much as you can. Most importantly EAT BREAKFAST!
If I eat in the morning I cant stop eating all day but if I skip breakfast my stomach shrinks or something and before lunchtime im numb and over eating and cant even eat much for dinner. Also some exercise will make you hungry.

if you want to increase your appetite go to gym and cut down on smoking.
gym really makes you want to eat.

I'm 1.95m tall and I only weigh 65kg.
But why do you want to gain weight anyway? Eating less saves a LOT of money and unless your health is deteriorating, why eat more?
If you're tired, just drink some water, that always helps.

Damn you guys definitely would be better off with a bit more meat. I'm skinny, but damn! 1.95m and 65kg :eek:
I agree on breakfast. Even the smallest amount, a little youghurt perhaps. start small. That will 'pave the way' for the rest of the day. <resists tempation to burst into song! - it sounds like a spar advert>

Start your day by having breakfast - in fact, oats tend to reduce the craving for nicotine. Plus, breakfast kickstarts your metabolism - an active metabolism is what makes you hungry.
Also, try to eat meals at regular intervals; this will keep your metabolism going.

Since most of us here work from 8 to 5, the only meal you can cook yourself is dinner.
And that's the only meal I eat. I leave the house at 6 in the morning, so there's no time for breakfast. Not that I'm hungry at that time of the morning...
