View Full Version : Neotel Call centre
I just made a call to the Neotel call centre to find out more about their NeoHost service (which is now available according to Neotel), and they certainly have to work on it a bit. I asked for more details – and specifically pricing – of their hosting services. They guy said that they don’t have pricing yet, and that a sales consultant will be able to help me.
When I asked to speak to a sales consultant, I was informed that there is no sales consultant available. Even when I told him it is now or never to get my business, he simply said that noone can immediately help me and that he should take my details if I want more info.
I can really suggest that Neotel gives more information to the helpdesk guys. What is the purpose of the helpdesk assistants always simply taking your details for later info? And why so secretive about price or service offerings – even after launch?

It is not good for a business to start out like this...
They should have been better prepared.

That sounds really bad, similar to Telkom infact - they should learn from the way Telkom handles their Call center, im sure its not very hard to improve on it - just keep all the agents informed about everything...

No!!! Now I'm really losing hope. Perhaps their Advertising section is just faster than the company can keep up? :o

I was promised to have excellent signal by one consultant yesterday, and today when I call to follow up the story changed, my neighbour has excellent coverage but I have no coverage. Great!

lol sounds to me like Neotel hired people who left or got fired from Iburst/Telkom... great way to establish a new company... use people who are useless!
I must congratulate them for answering the phone in a timely manner - but it seems as if they dont want to really give out prices. I really hate the 'we cant give you any details, let a salesman call you' answers.

No!! But we do have big stands, my stand is like 3000+ sqm and same's my neighbour. I hope to get some satisfactory answer next week or they send someone to do a on-site signal strength. We right next to each other, I am No.33 (No Signal)and they are no.35 (Great signal according to Neotel).....:(

Can we tag all Neotel threads as "FAILED"?
Sad to hear - the one time I called their call centre, they were effecient and helpful - also had to call me back, but they did do so timeously.
I called in connection with Neoconnect Prime or whatever its called...

I am also losing hope here. They have a long long way to go really.
