So thought i would share a bit:
April, was off to HK and China for a little training, hooked up with my teacher, 2 students and 2 of my Gong Fu brothers in HK, and did a little training with Master Lee Kam Wing of the Seven Star Mantis Gong Fu Association.

While the rest of the group studied the 7 Star Mantis, i was introduced to the first half of 18 Lohan Qigong routine, dating back a couple of hundred years to Songshan Temple.
From HK, it was a 4 hour bus ride to the town of Foshan, Guangzhou province, for further training with my Taiji Master, Master Ou.
He teaches in Zhongshan park, which also house the last remaining original Chin Woo institute building.
Chin Woo was made famous recently by the Jet Lee movie "Fearless", as it portrays the life of the founder of Chin Woo.
Inside the Chin Woo, (the doors are open all day and one can wonder in and look around)

The town of Foshan also houses the "Ancestral Temple", which has within its walls the Yip Man museum and the Wong Fe Hung museum.
Yip Man was the man who made Wing Chun famous, and lived in Foshan, my ex Wing Chun Teacher Lun Ki, was a student of his when a boy.
Wong Fe hung is the charachter potrayed by Jet Lee in the "Once upon a time in China" series of movies, and he was also a resident of Foshan.
Drawing of Wong Fe Hung, as no actual photos exist.

We were invited to visit a Martial Arts school 2 hours away in a local village one day, and landed up in the most amazing place i have seen in all my visits to China.
