I'm looking for some middle eastern music, any albums that can be recommended?
Edit:
I've had a look at the putumayo series but want a compilation of the best eastern music.... Indian, Middle-Eastern and Asian.

why not try out fushion to get the best of both worlds?John McLauglin is a leading exponent in jazz-oriental fushion and believe me if u wan't relaxing this is it(listen to his Industrial Zen cd, tracks 2,8 for relaxation purposes)
You might wanna try Cafe Del Maar, if you like the BB music, also look into Atif Aslam, Nitin Sawhney, Krishna Das...

Then how does your post (#5) have any relevance to the OP?
Please, we are talking about Ethnic/World music here.
Buddha Bar, Cafe Del Mar etc. is not Ethnic/World.
