I live in PE, was just wondering if its going to be available here as well?:confused:

Probably next year, (when its 2009 and you reflect back on the year, you'll be really pissed off that telkom has been ripping you off for another year) :rolleyes::p

Found the "coverage map" link to a .pdf that has place in Jhb, no mention of PE just yet :(

Well this sucks... Why do I get the feeling PE is being neglected so much?

Neotel intends to serve only 80% of the people in South Africa.

Obviously less than 20% of the people in South Africa live in PE :D

That is not cool:( The gaming industry in PE is growing fast if only neotel would realise that!:mad:

You guys are moaning about P.E. , err. well its sad but in Rustenburg, there is no coverage as well.... don't know when. Also no one can tell me of Wimax in Rustenburg :(

Also, ADSL installations take like 7 months here :mad:

Also, ADSL installations take like 7 months here :mad:

I have no coverage in fourways as well.. but they are putting up those towers as fast as possible... lets all relax and be patient:D

Same here, Telkom took 6 weeks to upgrade our line to "ADSL active" and I waited another 2 weeks for the router. My ISP at the moment is Mweb...:eek:

I speak on behalf of the entire PE Internet and gaming community when I say that we need a ISP like Neotel. It's just stupid excluding PE from the rest of South Africa!!

Then I speak on behalf of the whole RUSTENBURG community as well, we are ALSO a struggling gaming community with VERY VERY VERY BAD ISPs and Telkom. Please Neotel, come here , and oh to P.E. as well :P

they putting the cables everywhere but when i ask them are you'll going to have dsl/fibre dsl their answer is I DONT KNOW or No then when i point out thats its there on their site thats its going to come later on they say Yes but we dont have any information:eek:

:D:D:DYay1 iialso sent them a e-mail asking them if they will be available in PE and they said THAT THERE IS a definite chance. Yesterday I also saw them laying lines, so i gues this is VERY good news for PE after all:p Now lets see if Neotel will produce...

Looks like they will not be in Cape Town for at least another 3 Months. :eek:

Spoke to a contractor outside earlier. They are a bit behind schedule & towers still need to go up. Hopefully I'm proved wrong on this. So the waiting game continues...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Anyone here know about coverage in Northriding Randburg? According to the "coverage map" there is coverage in Randburg but the call centre says there is nothing yet in the Northriding area yet. i would have thought "randburg" means ALL the suburbs of Randburg?

Eventually, but who knows when that might be, they haven't said anything definitive AFAIK.

Guess it wont take to long though. Since 2/3weeks ago Neotel have started to dig up most of Stellenbosch installing big red pipes for cables ;)

But see for yourself if your in town. Atm they're digging near the Endler Hall and just finished (i think) digging near the Landrover garage.
