Guys, careful with the flames and such. I know soccer is especially emotive here and folks are trying to bash each other in cyberspace with virtual hammers. It is not good.
Report trolling!
Teasing is fine, but when the laughter stops the trolling starts. Then the mods have to come in and clean. I think custom infractions will be in order from now on.
So why cant you open the Summer transfers thread?

Whats the point reporting the trolling if nothing gets done?
HenryJ was trolling in it yet nothing happens to him and my thread gets locked.His now allowed to open a new thread about the same subject.
You right. What is the point! Henry trolls in Supasta's thread. They lock that thread which had LOTS of info on tranfer news. 33 pages.
Now Henry is allowed to open his own thread. Come on!

So I have made my own thread where I am sure a lot of other people, not you, will post and all will be well.
Best we don't cross paths again if you ask me.

Perhaps the mods can give modding duties to a sports section regular( preferably a footie section regular) who can sort out the mess without having to drag in the head honchos
EDIT: Not one of the trolls or hyper sensitive Man Utd supporters would be advisable one would think

Then they will cry favoritism!!! So you need to give each team a mod!
Eg, 1 ManU, 1 Chelsea, 1 Arsenal etc. That way they can delete each others posts :D

Exactly. It would just get out of hand, even if one person could be found to do the job unbaisedly, there will always be complaints. Even though the rules that have to be followed are pretty easy to understand for most of us :o

I was thinking maybe Stefan. Granted he's not that regular but if he comes in once in a while checks through the posts and deals out the appropriate punishment I don't see a problem

I disagree with that Moederloos, unless you also want to remove N&CA, Off topic, Philosophy etc.
I enjoy some of those sections, as do many others. I don't think that throwing the bath water out with the babies is the solution here.

I'm just pointing out that HenryJ is the common factor...if he is allowed to continue this way then it wont be long before the soccer sections are all locked.
I'm not the type to report sombody but surely one of the mods should pick up on his behavior

Fair enough man.
I still stand by all the posts I have ever made, and have stodd up to be counted in the past. I still say, if someone has a problem with a post of mine that actually goes against the rules of the forum, for trolling or personal attacks or whatever reason, then they can feel free to report it. If there is something wrong with it, the mods will give me a warning, I am sure. I have received warnings in the past - been here long enough :p

Jasheed was never a troll, the guy started a thread and was abused by (the person cash is talking about) in the first reply post.
His thread got deleted with no reason, hence he left.

I have said that I will look at my behaviour as well and conceded that I am not beyond reproach. It is a pity that you and others cannot show the same level of maturity and do the same.

I remember the thread. I stand by everything I said.
The user is question was removed for personal attacks and trolling, so any desciption of that kind would have been quite apt.
I wanted the thread to be there so that all you Chelsea fans would have a place to chat with each other like we have in the United thread. We would not go in there and you would not come into the United thread.
It seemed like a solution to me, much like the separate transfers threads are working now. Pathetic that we have to resort to such measures, but at least it is working.

I reported his posts and would do the same again in a heartbeat, no matter who the member was making them.
IF he got banned as a direct result of just MY reports(which I doubt) then sure, you can say I was responsible.
As I said, I stand by my actions and I would do exactly the same again should the situation warrant such action.

I don't agree with your assessment and you won't agree with mine, that's fine, I can live with that. We have different points of view which is what debate is all about.
Ultimately the way in which we deal with these differring views is what makes it all interesting.
BTW - you only refer to some of jasheed's post's not a ton of others where he had a go at anything non-Chelsea. I am not a Man U supporter before you even think of going there.
