Lo all,

We recently braught in quite a large irc network to SA especially for FServs and Bots and so forth. Currently avaraging 3,000 users, and adding an additional 4,000 odd users on Thursday afternoon.

All users are more than welcome to join in at panphobia.leechers-heaven.net:6667 and feel free to start up your own channels, your own bots, and your own fservs. If 'they' won't let us download internationally, let's download locally :P

The main differences between us and every one else, is that we really don't give a damm. Run your bots, run your scripts. As long as you're not spreading viruses, you won't be touched. Full services are also available to everyone including statistical services - and not to forget that with the 3,000 now and 4,000 additional avarages coming, we are (arguable) the biggest IRC Network in SA currently ;)

Nice 3000 global users. 6 local users.

And you are the biggest ZA irc network how? Most of users are not even on this continent.

I never said 3000 local, did I?

We hope to plan and grow this in ZA land as well, so you're all very much invited. As I said, most networks will akill any one who even attempts to do what we are, so there are some really nice benefits from a IRCers perspective.

I'll never understand the popularity of fserves. People downloading files from an fserve on IRC must be like the lowest form of life imaginable. [:p] (Not to mention wading through all the idiots that infest the larger IRC networks)

There are very few good and reliable IRC networks in South Africa.

Ive experienced them all and some are good, some are bad. Ethereal seems to be the nicest and friendliest at the moment.

irc.ethereal.web.za check it out

or use irc.ac.za for south africa's efnet server :)

Hope that helps.

Ok i not here to chirp but let me tell you the biggest and most used SA gaming irc server there is in SA is shadowfire.

As far as im concerned bots are what cause an irc server to get stupid and die and become as useless as a empty bottle.

If you want to join a really kewl IRC server that holds next to none on bot level then feel free to click on the link in my signature.... not only is it 98% sa ppl on it but its also has the Myadsl.co.za channel.

Soz freakazoid but i disagree with fserv....that is why we have a news server
