Premier League Champions Manchester United will start their 2008-09 league campaign against Kevin Keegan's Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

The Barclays Premier League Fixtures for 2008-09 season has just been released and other first day matches includes a tricky fixture for Rafael Benitez's Liverpool side who have an away match at Roy Keane's Sunderland. Liverpool are the only 'big four' club who'll be playing away from home on the opening day with Arsenal entertaining Premier League new boys West Bromwich Albion.

New Chelsea boss Scolari will be taking on FA Cup Winners Portsmouth in his first game in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Fellow newcomers Stoke City visit Bolton Wanderers and Hull City will play Roy Hodgson's Fulham at the Kingston Communications Stadium.

Aston Villa will play Manchester City at home, Middlesbrough will host Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United will meet Wigan Athletic at Upton Park.

Manchester United face top four sides Liverpool and Chelsea away on successive weekends, 13th September and 20th September, before also visiting Arsenal on 8th November, while Liverpool has to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the 25th of October and again on 31st January at Anfield.

i meant the actual "draw"...i'm sure sky sports has a major say in who really plays who when.

Anyways i don't really care. We are the only top 4 tyeam playing away on the opening day...AGAIN

It's Final. they take FA Cup and International Fixtures into account.

Heres the full fixture list link, seeing that it doesn't show as a link in my OP.

Ya thats what someone people dont get on this forum.Debating a subject doesnt mean you should start insulting/calling people trolls.

Also this forum seems a lot better now that catch21 is banned from posting here.
