Hi to all members and non-members,

RPM, ASnogarD and I would like to wish all our members and non-members a very merry Xmas and a happy new year.

Personally I was very pleased to see that we hit the 1000 + subscriber mark before the end of 2003. So if Telkom really does have 10 000 ADSL subscribers, as they claim, we now represent 10% of the installed base! - no longer just a "minority of disgruntled users" as we were referred to by Mr Steven White from Telkom earlier this year.

What an eventfull year it has been in the telecoms space! Frankly I was surprised that our dear friend Dr Ivy actually got to settling the SNO issue before 2004. Let's hope that the new year brings a new perspective for communications users in South Africa!

Once again have a good Xmas and a great new year and if you are travelling, please do so safely...

Your wishes are indeed reciprocated, with the fervent hope that changed perspectives will also be followed by definite and conclusive action on the part of those concerned...

Merry Christmas and happy new year to all,

RPM - thanks for the site and taking a stand on our behalf.
Thanks also to the moderators ASnogarD and ASF , we appreciate your efforts and time.

In 2004 we may get Telkom to join the 20th Century at least.

Cheers
Chris

I'd rather they joined the 21st century.

Happy New Year everyone.

I think you are asking a bit much. One has to learn to walk before you can run.[;)]
Have a good one guys & girls... don't overdo it, do it over![8D]

I'm sure there are plenty of subscribers that aren't ADSL subscribers.

Thats partially correct...but the fact 1000 + people are part of myadsl will make some heads turn and noticed...in fact we are quoted in the SA mag as 'those myadsl people' ..which means we must be noticable enough to be referenced
