I read an article on Moneyweb where they were mentioned quite favourable compared to other banks when it comes to fees. One drawback I thought of right away is that I almost never see Capitec ATMs so drawing money might work out more expensive.
Do any of you have have experiences with this bank? What do they suck at? Are they any good?

You can always use your Capitec card as a debit card without the need for cash.
I'm amazed that Capitec (and not one of the major four banks) first implemented two-factor authentication to use their online banking service. They issue you with an SecureID keyfob that have a pin that changes every 60 seconds. You need this changing PIN in the second step of logging on to your online account. That means that if somebody got hold of your login details than still can't do anything if they don't have the physical keyfob in their possession.
Makes all the other major banks look like amateurs...

I think FNB will also provides the same thing.
Back to the question - what do you do about ATM's? I always have a need for cash even though I have plastic. There are just some things that don't accept plastic - like my domestic worker.

FNB used to provide a 'Digitag' which was similar.

But the question at hand here "About lack of enougfh ATMs around'. Obviously they will charge you more if you use a different bank?
Silly question, do they have Credit Card facilities, PetroCard, etc?
I am thinking of ditching my FNB - no good valie for money there. I spent a small fortune in bank charges!!!

You can check on their web site where all their ATMs are situated.
