I stumbled upon this nifty little script package via an ArsTechnica article (http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080629-horny-for-ubuntu-8-10-first-look-at-intrepid-ibex.html) on the next Ubuntu version (Intrepid Ibex). If you're tired of the default Ubuntu look, this is a nice, easy way to make it look quite nice.

What does it do exactly?

It downloads and installs all the bits and pieces you need for the themes.
You get them in various colours: blue, green, red, human etc. There are 3 styles - clearlooks, nodoka and murrine. I think it also gets various windowborders, icon sets etc.

So ja, basically just installs the themes for you, once the scripts have run you can select the new themes from your theme manager.

That's great. Totally eliminates the need to make the themes that you download from KDElook.

I see that is for the gnome desktop, going to check if it is for KDE as well.

I use gnome color chooser (http://gnomecc.sourceforge.net/) - it lets you change colours and backgrounds on the panel. :)

It's in the ubuntu repos.
