Rooney is over rated! I am an England supporter and dread seeing his name on the starting lineup but then again who is better? He is the best of the mediocre bunch of english strikers. Chicarito on the other hand is a goal machine. Would rather have one of him than 5 Rooneys.

Rooney, like all good players, needs a solid midfielder behind him. Look at how he played when Cleverley was starting behind him, he couldn't stop scoring.

Agreed on Sturridge and Welbeck, they look quite promising and its definitely time to get rid of the oldies and try to build a decent team for the next World Cup.

Thanks for the cheers. As I said before (if you bothered to read), those stats are meaningless, as both sides play in extra time, not just one.

Oh and by the way:

Two reports today reveal conflicting views, with one suggesting that United are actually less likely to receive additional playing time over the course of a Premier League season, but another suggesting that more time is likely to be added on at Old Trafford when United actually need it and are still chasing something from the game.

The average stoppage time added at Old Trafford in the period in question is below that given at Anfield, the Emirates Stadium and Stamford Bridge. United's is 205 seconds, compared to Liverpool's 210sec, Arsenal's 224sec and Chelsea's 229sec.

But LFC is so rubbish that they can't score even with more average stoppage time. But of course that's United's fault

I love that LFC fans think that because they hardly win anything (particularly in the recent past) it's United's fault. Maybe look at your players, and Benitez/Hodgson/Dalglish. All useless.

Has Rooney ever been a prolifant goalscorer? He had maybe 2 or 3 hot patches at most in his career. Played well in midfield the other day tho but not a natural goalscorer.

When Ronaldo was at United, he was always second choice, got played outta position etc. First season after Ronaldo left he had 34 goals in all competitions before his season was cut short by injury. Only now is he being played in his preferred position.

Don't know why everyone always goes on about Rooney being ugly. He's a football player, not a fashion model. He's paid to kick a ball around, not look good. Besides despite his terrible looks, he's a better football player by far than any of Liverpool's players.

you cannot have someone like rooney being a role model. he looks like **** and will scare the **** out of kids. he has all the money in the world. why not go for a facial makeover. he scares the **** out of defenders (excuse the pun) does utd even have a good looking player in their team, don't think so

This team beat that team, look at our trophies, but we have more of that trophy, but we beat you last time out, your player slept with his grandma, but your manager sleeps with the referee, blah, blah, blah.

What is the point of recycling them everytime. I am all for banter and its part of what is fun about this forum, but put your back into it and try to atleast make it interesting.

Saying United's got the refs in their pockets and Liverpool is an overrated team with a bunch of average overpriced Englishman is just stating the facts and can't really be called banter. :p

Liverpool's Kenny Dalglish attacks 'disgraceful' fixture scheduling (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/nov/10/liverpool-kenny-dalglish-fixture-scheduling)

Kenny Dalglish has branded the decision to schedule Liverpool's Carling Cup quarter-final at Chelsea just 48 hours after his team confront Manchester City at Anfield as "disgraceful".

The Liverpool manager admitted he may be forced to field an under-strength team for the match at Stamford Bridge on 29 November and has even urged supporters to bear that in mind before purchasing tickets for the midweek game.

"It is disgraceful in this day and age that players are being asked to play a key Premier League game and then a League Cup quarter-final in London just 48 hours later," said Dalglish. "It's understandable with the Spurs v PAOK Salonika match and the TUC rally that the Met police have said that our game cannot be played on the Wednesday. But it's surely the duty of the football authorities to think of other solutions which consider the welfare of the players and this clearly hasn't happened.

"Manchester City are in a similar position to us with their game at Arsenal and it's for them to argue their case, but it is my job to stand up for the interests of Liverpool Football Club. Here you have two clubs who have treated this competition with utmost respect over the years and they are being treated like this.

"It seems totally irresponsible as well that the quarter-finals are scheduled in the same week as Europa League games. If Stoke had beaten us in the last round and were through to face Chelsea then the tie gets rescheduled for another date – it's as simple as that. But when we ask the Football League to move our game to a later date, we're told it's impossible.

"Where's the logic in that? What would have happened if all four of the English clubs playing in the Europa League had got through to the quarter-finals? If the Football League want to devalue their own competition, that's up to them, but they shouldn't then be upset if people use these games to help in the development of young players."

Dalglish has indicated that the club's managing director, Ian Ayre, consulted with the Premier League to explore whether the quarter-final could be put back until the Saturday, an arrangement which would have suited City.

"But, again, we are told by the Premier League that this is not possible either for TV reasons and just to get on with it," said Dalglish. "Ian Ayre specifically consulted with the Premier League who had some discussion with Sky, but neither were able to accommodate our position.

"The one thing I will say to our fans is to think carefully before buying tickets for the League Cup game because we do not want them spending their money and then we decide there is no other option but to use only young players in the tie."

Good man.

Uruguay striker Luis Suarez scored all four goals as the Copa America holders crushed Chile 4-0 on Friday to stay top of the South American 2014 World Cup qualifying group.

Suarez scored twice in each half, his goals spanning a 30-minute period in which Uruguay devastated Chile, who went into the match following coach Claudio Borghi's dismissal of five of his players for indiscipline in midweek.

Chile were also weakened by the last-minute withdrawal of key player Alexis Sanchez, who aggravated a right biceps problem during the warm-up. Sanchez had been out for almost two months with the injury.

Suarez was substituted soon after his final goal to resounding cheers from the crowd of more than 40 000 at the Centenario stadium, and watched the rest of the game from the bench with the match ball under his arm.

"(I scored four goals) just once or twice at Ajax but it's the first time for the national team and I'm very happy," Suarez told reporters.

"What's important is that the team won well. It doesn't matter who gets the goals," said Suarez, who helped Uruguay make light of the absence of fellow forward Diego Forlan.

Uruguay lead the nine-nation group with seven points from three matches after last month's home 4-2 win over Bolivia and 1-1 draw at Paraguay. Chile, with three points, had previously lost 4-1 in Argentina and beaten Peru 4-2 at home.

FOUR-GOAL SPREE

Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo tried to separate the midweek incident in Santiago, when five players returned late after drinking on a free evening, from the rout in Montevideo.

"What happened in the week has nothing to do with this. That's a closed chapter. We didn't play as we should have done," he told Chilean TV station Chilevision.

Both sides attacked from the start creating and had a string of chances but Chile left themselves dangerously open at the back.

Chile could have taken the lead after a quarter of an hour when Humberto Suazo brilliantly fed fellow forward Eduardo Vargas but Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera cleared with his feet.

Suarez struck in the 42nd minute when he slotted home a pass from midfielder Egidio Arevalo Rios and made it two before the interval when he appeared to net the ball with his shoulder.

Chile had a goal disallowed for offside early in the second half and the wind went out of their sails.

Suarez completed his hat-trick with a header from Alvaro Pereira's cross in the 67th minute and soon after rounded off the scoring with a rasping shot from the edge of the box.

Uruguay defender Diego Godin denied Chile a consolation goal when he cleared Mauricio Isla's shot off the line in added time.

The South American champions have a bye on Tuesday which will give other teams a chance to catch up with them in the standings in four more qualifiers. Uruguay play Italy in a friendly in Rome.

FA charges Suarez over Evra complaint

Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has been charged by the FA in relation to the accusations of racism from Manchester United defender Patrice Evra on October 15.

Evra made the allegation in an interview with French television channel Canal+ following the 1-1 draw between the two sides at Old Trafford. He said: "There are cameras, and you can see him [Suarez] say a certain word to me at least ten times. No place for that in 2011. The referee is aware of what was said."

The United defender reported the incident to referee Andre Marriner after the final whistle and maintained that he wanted to pursue the complaint, while a Liverpool spokesman said that Suarez "categorically denied'' the allegation.

However, after saying they would investigate the allegations, an FA statement read on Wednesday: ''The FA has today charged Liverpool's Luis Suarez following an incident that occurred during the Liverpool versus Manchester United fixture at Anfield on 15 October 2011. It is alleged that Suarez used abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards Manchester United's Patrice Evra contrary to FA rules.

''It is further alleged that this included a reference to the ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race of Patrice Evra. The FA will issue no further comment at this time.''

Gerrard haunted by failure

Steven Gerrard admits he is haunted by the fact he has never been able to win the Premier League.

The 31-year-old has tasted just about every success you can as a player with Liverpool winning the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, FA Cup and Carling Cup.

But the title medal remains nothing more than a dream at this point, and Gerrard admits that troubles him.

"It's something I think about almost every day," he said. "I always think about the dream of winning it - or the disappointment if I was never to win it.
Awful shame

"Of course, it would be hugely disappointing if it didn't happen. To have played at Liverpool for what will, hopefully, be 14 or 15 years by the time I finish and not win it would be hugely disappointing.

"It would be an awful shame. But it won't be for a lack of trying.

"With the squad we have now, if we can keep improving and progressing and adding to it in the next few years, I think we'll have a really good chance of becoming champions.

"But I've played in an era where there have been three, four or five top teams in the league.

"When Liverpool dominated, they were so good they often turned it into a one-horse race right from the start of the season.

"In my time, we've been fighting with Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and now Manchester City and Spurs. They have all been, or are, fantastic teams. It's a really difficult competition to win, but we'll always keep fighting."
Title dream

Gerrard, who is recovering from an ankle infection, insists that he has not given up on his title dream and he still feels Liverpool can make a challenge again.

"It was great to see so many players come in," he said.

"It wasn't just during the summer either. There was also Luis (Suarez) and Andy (Carroll), who still feel like new signings because they came halfway through last season.

"Since then, we've added Charlie Adam, Jordan Henderson, Craig Bellamy, Stewart Downing and Sebastian Coates. The majority of them are strong British lads, who know the league well. They've also got quality.

"The squad is looking stronger - probably the strongest we've had for a long time. Now it's all about delivering.

"The tools are all there. Now we need to work hard, focus on each game and try to build on what we've shown over the last 20 or so games.

"At Liverpool, your standards have got to be so high every single week. You have to perform every time.

"That's what I've had to do every year and that's what the new lads are coming to terms with."

Was a scrappy affair. Poor defensive error gifted us a goal....same could be said off the Chelsea equalizer. Game was decided by brilliance from Johnson.....

L'Pool had a horrid 2nd half and a point would have been fair on both teams. Excellent 3points...... Bring on Citeh.

great win, although scrappy. 3 points is all that counts now. must say that both defense looks weak. we really need a hard man in the middle. adam had a great game besides his fault for chelsea's equaliser. i would rather have johnson on the right then kuyt and then kelly at right back. we will have more balance on the right. as i said last week we know that we perform against the big teams and get the result. will be interesting how we fair against the best team by far in the league this week.

How was Adam at fault for their equaliser? If anyone is at fault it's Enrique for sloppy marking.

To be fair Adam was the catalyst for both goals - dispossession of the ball from Mikel and the sublime raking pass to Johnson.

Need more of the same from the first half of the last game for City on Sunday. That is the way LFC must play. Get up in the face of opposition and harass. Great to watch.

For the first goal there were six, yes SIX!!!!!!!! red players in the opposition half. That's unheard off even against minnows. Adam shot forward from the half way line to dispossess Mikel. Normally he'd be backtracking frantically in the opposite direction even if the opposition was Swansea.

However if the team approaches the game like they did in the 2nd half it will be a thrashing but I doubt that will happen. LFC approach these games with a "nothing to lose attitude" and hence get the results. They leave the fear and passive deep defensive approach for the minnows.

Nice Mail On Henderson's Strengths
As a Sunderland supporter, I have watched Jordan Henderson play week-in week-out for the past couple of seasons. Although not baffled by all of this criticism of the transfer fee, I feel that I must make a couple of points about a player who I feel can be a real asset to Liverpool. I get the feeling that many people don't really know what he does, which is hardly surprising given the pathetic amount of air time afforded to us by Match of The Day every week. After the world cup, many of us began to really notice the sheer lack of technical talent in the England set-up. By this, I'm not talking about crossing or shooting ability, I'm talking about close control, quick passing and most importantly of all, tactical awareness. Jordan has these traits in abundance and, far from comparing him to the likes of the great Xavi and Iniesta, his approach to the game is very much as a team member rather than as a maverick. He won't drive through the middle of the park and smash a last-minute cup final half volley into the corner when he's got cramp, but what he will do is keep the game ticking over and, when the chance presents itself, show that he knows how to whip in a dangerous cross or play a nicely weighted through ball.

Of course, this style of play won't make him a fan favourite, and his popularity in Sunderland was partly due to his local roots. Sometimes, there were groans from the fans when he passed the ball backwards or sideways, but those of us watching more closely could see that he was simply playing patient, intelligent football. His touch in tight situations is excellent and he always seems to find a one-two or a small gap to get the ball through to a team-mate. It struck me during the England game this week that some of our players aren't remotely willing to receive the ball when closely marked, but Jordan will. It's exactly what the England team is lacking, and the reason we've heard so much since last summer about non-competitive football for kids in order to teach them how to play the game 3 or 4 steps ahead, like the boys at Barcelona do. For me, the problem with this style of play is that you are only as good as the players around you. We all know that Barca excel due to the fact that each and every player is comfortable on the ball. Unfortunately for Henderson, there have been times this season when some of his team mates haven't been on the same page as him, but I would imagine that he'll settle in nicely in a very talented Liverpool midfield.

I really like what I've seen of him, and he scored a cracker of a goal against Bolton. He also set up both goals in the league cup against Exeter.

He plays well when he plays down the middle, but when KD sticks him out on the right he fades out of the game -> simply because he isn't the kind of player that would play there. He also passes well, and can receive the ball even when very tightly marked and move it along to a teammate.

He can't really play as a winger/left midfield. His positioning is good, but when he has the ball, he never looks forward to take on the defender. (He tried it once, and failed dismally with what was the worst samba attempt I've ever seen) He'd rather pass it backwards.

But at the end of the day, he was always sitting in the box when needed to finish our counter attacks.

Lucas to have a scan on that knee today. Hope it isn't too serious.

Think defenders dont see him as a threat, so he sneaks into the 6-yard box freely.

Well we'll have to go for the wins against minnows now. An all or nothing approach is called for.

A DM is essential for the big games but not so much against smaller teams. Now that we're weaker and far less likely pick up results against the big teams it makes it even more imperative to beat the minnows

Rather play them over 2 legs than in the final. We were going to play them either way!

Massive massive blow. Hopefully Spearing can get an extended run in the team. Spearing is a solid DM and he never stops running.

+1 No one can replace Lucas :( but getting Gerrard back (whenever the heck that might be) would be a boost.

Henderson should get more game time in the middle, where he plays his best! We've also recalled Jonjo from Blackpool (scored 5 goals in 9) so we have a couple of midfielders. What I wouldn't give to have Aqualani at the moment!

I reckon our formation should be 442. Downing Adam Henderson/spearing Kuyt in midfield. Our defense won't enjoy the same protection as before, but in the last few games they have been top notch. Just need to iron out the defensive positioning of the fullbacks.

I see we have recalled Jonjo Shelvey from loan at Blackpool.

IAN Holloway has admitted he is gutted to be losing Jonjo Shelvey, a player he believes is destined for the very top.

Liverpool hit the Seasiders with the bombshell news that they were recalling the 19-year-old after discovering that Brazilian midfielder Lucas will be sidelined for six months with a knee injury.

Lucas picked up the injury in Tuesday’s Carling Cup win at Chelsea and Liverpool need Shelvey as cover.

Holloway is disappointed to say the least. Shelvey had scored six goals in nine games and talks about keeping him at Bloomfield Road for the remainder of the season were, according to Pool, at “an advanced stage”.

The boss, though, is pleased that he has played a small part in Shelvey’s development this year.

Holloway said: “It is a shame (he has to go back) because Liverpool are playing exceptionally well, and I had been hoping that might leave an opportunity for us to keep Jonjo until the end of the season.

“All I know is that Jonjo is a fantastic young man who has all sorts of ability. I have no doubts whatsoever he will be a top, top player.

“He is already at a top, top club and he had been helping us try to get back to where we want to get – the Premier League. I think he had improved as a player in the time he’s been here and that pleases me.

“Our fans were enjoying watching him play, and he had a great following among our supporters, despite the fact he had only been here for a couple of months. Jonjo is English and he gives us English people hope that we might have a half-decent national team for the future.

“I just hope he is involved (at Liverpool), because when someone invests that amount of money in a lad so early (he signed for £1.7m from Charlton in summer 2010), they often end up getting stacked and racked and lost.”

Shelvey’s absence throughout a busy December is a major blow, though there are plenty of other options in attack.”

Seriously. You see that's the problem with some of our support. I can understand people getting frustrated with Lucas in his earlier years but hate is totally unacceptable. People forget thast Lucas came in from the Brazilian league, never having any prior expereince in europe. He cam in to a team with the likes of Alonso and Mascherano in the team. Right from the beginning, Rafa decided to try and mould Lucas into a DM which he never was before he came. It's understandable that it would take time for him to come right yet supporters got on his back from the off which never helped him.

I can't remember the last time I was as gutted as I am now for a player picking up a long term injury. He has really been a model professional for me. He always picked up the stick when we lost even when he was not the culprit yet he continued. The worst moment for him was when he was booed off aganist West Ham back in 2008. He has kept on trying to progress and has definately got the rewards so far. From the beginning of the year, he has been immense and it's a real shame that he picked up such an injury.

It's very sad. Out of all the years I've watched football, no one has impressed me as much as Lucas when it comes to work ethic, determination and the will to progress no matter what stick is thrown at him.

He doesn't have all the tricks as other world class midfielders have but he does have the biggest heart. Gutted for him, absolutely gutted.

But wait! There's more!

Liverpool's Luis Suárez makes 'offensive gesture' at Fulham fans (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/dec/06/liverpool-luis-suarez-gesture)

The Liverpool striker Luis Suárez could face a misconduct charge after appearing to make an offensive gesture towards Fulham fans at the end of his team's 1-0 defeat here on Monday night.

Suárez, who has been charged by the Football Association over allegations that he racially abused Manchester United's Patrice Evra in October, which he denies, was pictured apparently responding to supporters as he walked towards the tunnel after the match.

The Uruguay international was subjected to chants of "cheat" after the referee, Kevin Friend, turned down a penalty appeal when he went over after a challenge by Brede Hangeland in the second half. The FA will wait for the official's match report before deciding whether to act.

Kenny Dalglish, the Liverpool manager, admitted he could be forced to talk to Suárez about his conduct following the latest controversy but angrily hit back over the fans' abuse. "I haven't seen the picture and I'm not taking anybody's word for it," said Dalglish. "If you show me the picture and I'm convinced that what you're saying is true, then I've got a decision to make. But until you have proved it is true to me, I won't comment."

In response to Fulham supporters branding Suárez a "cheat", Dalglish said: "That's scandalous. I would like to see you write that in the paper because you would be in a bit of trouble as well. You write what you want to write. At the end of the day, we will look after Luis the best we can and I think it is about time he got a wee bit of protection from some people."

This:

Here’s a quick rundown of “offensive gesture” incidents to help your write your Luis Suarez stories properly:

9 May 2011: Manchester United and England player Wayne Rooney is photographed and videotaped making a clear V-sign toward Chelsea fans. FA decides not to take action.

17 December 2007: Chelsea and England player Ashley Cole is photographed making a clear V-sign toward Arsenal fans. There is no immediately available record of the FA taking any action.

19 January 2010: Manchester United and England player Gary Neville is photographed clearly extending a middle finger toward Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez in full view of fans, at the end of a heated local derby. There is no immediately available record of the FA taking any action.

There’s the hard part done for you. Now do your jobs. Find out whether Cole and Neville were punished —Cole for doing precisely what Suarez is accused of, Neville for doing something similar and surely no more excusable.

If you find that they were indeed punished, then inform us, and demand the same for Suarez.

If you find that they were not, demand equal treatment for Suarez, regardless of the fact that he is your pantomime villain and does not play his international football for England.

http://www.thisisanfield.com/2011/12/attention-mainstream-football-writers/

Saurez will probably be punished, seeing as the footballing media is out to get him. Not much we can do.

Well LFC need a natural goal scorer. A Hernandez/Bent/Trezeguet type of player who'll just sit in the box and take the one chance that comes their way. Liverpool - Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has insisted Luis Suarez has his full support after the controversial Uruguay striker was hit with two Football Association charges.

Suarez has been charged with improper conduct following an alleged gesture he made towards Fulham fans during Monday's 1-0 defeat at Craven Cottage.

The incident was captured by photographers and Suarez, who already faces an FA charge for allegedly making racist remarks to Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, has until 16h00 GMT on Monday to respond.

Fulham fans chanted “cheat” at Suarez during a game which saw him on the receiving end of some hefty challenges.

Dalglish said it was a “joke” the racism charge hanging over Suarez had yet to be dealt with by the FA.

And he insisted the former Ajax player, who has scored seven league and cup goals this season, retained the full backing of everyone at Liverpool.

“The staff, players and supporters will stand by him because they know what the truth is,” said Anfield great Dalglish.

“We'll stand by him. It's only in other people's interests that if they cannot stop him on the pitch, they have to try some other ways and means to stop him.

“They're entitled to tackle him, but tackle him fairly. That's all we're saying,” the former Scotland striker added.

“People just jump on the bandwagon and accuse him of this, that and everything else. He's a fantastic footballer and one that every other club would love to have in their side.”

Despite being hit with a new FA charge, Suarez will start when Queens Park Rangers visit Anfield on Saturday.

Liverpool are seventh in the Premier League table - five points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.

Dalglish's players are under pressure to defeat QPR after four home games without a win.

But QPR striker Jamie Mackie believes encouraging performances earlier in the season against Chelsea and Manchester City give his side confidence ahead of the London club's first visit to Anfield for 16 years.

Mackie, who returned to the first team in October after recovering from a broken leg, was involved in the QPR sides that beat Chelsea and narrowly lost 3-2 to Premier League leaders City.

“We have shown with our performances against Chelsea and Man City that we enjoy the challenge of playing against the top sides in the division, and hopefully we can do that again,” he said.

QPR conceded a late equaliser at home to West Brom last week and arrive on Merseyside with one win in five games.

“We played some good football on Saturday, and I felt we dominated much of the game,” added Mackie.

“Now, having had a couple of days to reflect on it, there are a lot of positives to take from the match and we have got to take the sort of football we're playing into Saturday's game at Liverpool.”

QPR, promoted from the Championship in May, have a number of Liverpool fans in their squad, including captain Joey Barton, Bradley Orr and Clint Hill, but Mackie has urged his team-mates to forget about their old allegiance this weekend.

“There are a few lads in the dressing room who support them, so it is going to be a special match,” the Scotland international said.

Heard Warnock also attacked the FA about some recent decisions/Saurez situation.

Dalglish's players are under pressure to defeat QPR after four home games without a win.

Didn't Rafa throw away our chance at the title a few years ago with 4 home draws in a row?

Opposition goalies are bringing some seriaas blackmagic to Anfield.

They have pulled off save after save after save in the numerous home draws.

Kenny needs to get a sangoma asap...maybe the goals might follow.

Bad luck prayers!
But we defended well, Reina did not have to make a save, we did everything well but worrying that we ony put 1 in, was enough though.
Suarez n Maxi should have had hat tricks each.

With SO many assists from the woodwork as well... Seasons go by and you might remember one cracking shot that came back off the post... Hell man, we're having one (or two) a game now!

Well it has to change sometime.

The goals will come...I hope.

Opposition goalkeepers have some serious voodoo magic going on at Anfield.

Perhaps it's because they have a chance at making saves.

Saw that game, happy Spurs lost, but they were robbed (they deserve it after all).

Where are Liverpools goals going to come from:
Suarez - possibly tiring.
Own goals
Belamy - not given enough pitch time.
Maxi - Has scored many but does miss quite a few.
Kuyt - Has not scored any league goals this season.
Downing - Still on 0.
Caroll - seriously?

hopefully we can hijack tevez deal from under the noses of AC Milan. he would be an awsome signing. seeing the 2 south americans together will make any defence shiver. who else is then available and wants to play for us.

Tevez doesn't know where he wants to play. If you were able to get him, it would help Pool get a few extra goals that are badly needed (games against Chelsea notwithstanding). Yeah, he might cause a ruckus in the changing rooms, but seriously, would you mind if he scored a boatload of goals?

Agreed, Tevez is a madhir in front of goal.

Edit : excellent striker ;)

City would never allow him to go to a team in the premier league, let alone one competing for a top 4 finish.

So they'd have no problem loaning him to Liverpool

They loaned Adebayor to Spurs.
City competiting for title, Liverpool/Spurs/Arsenal for top 4.

Rumours swirling that Torres would be available in Jan transfer window. The logical side of me thinks that he'd never return. What do we think? Has he lost that spark forever?

Probably never happen though, but just imagine a Torres-Saurez partnership.

Just got handed an ass whipping by our reserves. 4-0.

Diouf scored a double, how embarrassing.
