All you Guru's out here, gimme your thoughts re this issue.
This is re Namibia's ADSL.
I have a 1mb line and my friend a 256k, so I went there for the weekend and took my "faster" modem with, and guess what, we were with my modem and user/pass on 256k.. To test this we took his modem to my house and he was on 1024k ?
Therefore the restriction must be on the physical line ?
User/pass makes no difference and we both connect on the same user/pass at the same time np.
This must be the reason why we are still uncapped ?
The ability to download 40GIG/month at no additional charge is a nice perk for the lack of knowhow.
