Hey guys, I want to do the following:

I want to use my Nokia 6234 as a modem. I was wondering if I buy a Virgin Sim Card and load airtime. Can I use it to connect to the net. Bearing in mind I want it to connect using GPRS only.

Put Sim-card in phone. Link phone to PC. Load Nokia PC Suite. Use "Connect to the Internet" option and set the software to VirginMobile South Africa.

I think by default the phone will use the best service it can stably connect to. Virgin Mobile only offers EDGE/GPRS so it should only use either of those two.

As long as you don't have your nokia set to 3G only then it will be fine.

Isnt that phone Vodafone live?
Hence 3g only aint possible?
