Sony DSC-H10 vs Canon SX 100 IS or Sony DSC-H50 vs Canon S5 IS
I am a bit of a n00b when it comes to Digital Cameras. I can only judge or make assumptions on other people's reviews/comments.
I want to buy a Digital Camera that is a little more than you're average "Point-n-shoot" cameras, but I don't need a SLR as they are a bit cumbersome and expensive for my needs.
At first my choices was between the Sony DSC-H10 and the Canon SX 100 IS.
Sony H10:
Cons: Memory Stick Pro, Manual Lens cap
Canon SX100:
Cons: Flash cycle time (apparently up to 10s), some image noise (apparently)
So now I'm thinking, maybe spend the extra 1k and look at the Sony DSC-H50 or the Canon S5 IS. This will give me a ViewFinder on the camera which is a big up, and the Canon also has 'n boot for an external flash. Is it worth looking at these more expensive models and why?
So now I turn to anyone who has had experience with these cameras to shed some light on the pros and cons of each. What should I be looking out for? Any suggestions to cameras similar to these and in the same price range would also help (especially if links can be provided).
Here are some of the specs/reviews on above mentioned cameras:
