I would say you should have been removed, but not assaulted like that. I would guess it all revolves around what severity of injuries you may have suffered though.

goto police open a case of assault common and see what happens.I really doubt you will be able to sue as that is only for loss of earnings due to injuries or personal damage etc as in the medical costs.This country does not allow ambulance chasing so thinking you can do what they do in states aint going to work.Plus if you going to go complain its actually "across the face" not "through it".Plus you got to prove it happened as in the police will give you a form to take to doctor and if there is no marks then there is no proof.In short yes you got slapped but how much did you verbally abuse him in your drunk state and forcing him to take the unprofessional approach to quieten you down from your hysteria?Think about it when you sober and you will know what you have to do.

Yes you can initiate a civil claim at any time for almost anything, but as a previous poster stated it won’t be worth it, you will have to spend 10’s of thousands of rands and you will not win the case, then you will also have to pay for the “defendants” defense team, which will cost you some more 10’s of thousands of rands. I am sure that you did something stupid to get yourself noticed by the bouncers, just sneaking in and behaving will most of the time not get you into trouble. Bouncers get paid to aggressively enforce the club rules, he was doing his job, and you were in the wrong, take it as a life lesson and move on.

They have advertisement saying R12 dbl+mix but I end up paying R15....Sometimes I ask the barmen why the increase in price but then he never serves me again....so now I just accept the lost R3 and continue working on my game :)

The law says that if you drink and drive, being intoxicated is an aggravating circumstance. I reason the same is the case regarding one's behaviour in a public place whilst intoxicated.

If you make a mistake because you are drunk, you deserve to be bitch-slapped. if they treat their customers this way.

You won't find a shopping centre security guard blikesming a drunken
customer - maybe a bergie - but not a real customer. Vote with your
wallet and out of spite, maybe get the club to loose some extra money.
It will make you feel good.

with your own squad of bodyguards or buy some of the club and then dump it to
get the owner to loose money, go bankrrupt and destroy the rest of his life.

Your case will be dismissed you were drunk and didn’t go to the hospital or doctor.
And then you should have made a case within 48 hours of the incident.

But lay a complaint at the police station get it on record if everybody does that the guys who just slap people around because they have small @#$% syndrome will eventually not be able to get jobs and end up in jail where they can slap people around as they like.

But from experience you do not have many options as the police are usually friends with the bouncers as well.
