If i save a site/webpage to my favourites and and it has games on it, can i play those games without using my gigs. my daughter has found a few sites with games for her to play and she added them to the favourites and sometimes she plays them i sould guess online.

is there a way to play them offline?

Some online games are programmed in flash. With internet explorer, when you add it to ur favorites, it somehow caches the site and since the game is just one file, it gets stored on your computer and you play it from your computer instead of over the internet.

SO then once the game is finished loading, click on file - save - save whole webpage. Then if you go in the directory, there will be a file that ends with .swf or something similar.

Click on that file and open with internet exploder and there we go

If it's a flash-based game, you can do the following in Firefox:
Tools -> Page Info -> Media -> Scroll down to the appropriate .swf file -> Save As

another way would be to download teleport pro or some other web trawling software and download all the .swf files from that website :)

get flashget and when on the webpage with said game view the source and copy the location of the .swf and download with flashget.

http://www.flashsaver.com-http.com/ - I am sure doing a torr**t search you could find it :) (for educational purposes only mind you)

If you run the .swf file, it gets loaded locally so there should be no network traffic :)
