PC version is poor. Again EA shunned the pc gamers. Rather wait for pes 2009 they will give the pc gamers the same game as the console gamers.

ag these fifa games never really change much. I just enjoy the fact that the new players are included. And the new kits but thats about it for me.

I play on the PS2. Thats the crap thing about PES for me. It just doesn't feel right playing with the mersyside Reds or whatever they will call Liverpool this season:)

Yeah but if you have the console version its rather difficult to apply the patch.

But PES will be better now that they got the champions league licence.

Played the demo and it feels better then the last years version but through passes at their default setting are still horrible. Some other minor annoyances are still there, but thats partially because I don't know the complete control scheme yet. Presentation is impressive though. One thing that doesn't seem changed, which I had major issues with last year, is that there is no sense of difficulty. If you play on anything above beginner...all teams whether they are 4 or 1 star play almost at the same difficulty. There is no clear gap in quality between teams on opposite ends.

Hold on a tick - you talking about PES or FIFA? Don't know how difficulty is rated in FIFA so a bit confused here (on local - can't search)

To which I answer - MaxDrive! Ditto on the licence comment :D

What are you doing playing on beginner anyway?:D
PES FTW

But one thing they should really fix is the fact that you cant move freely during a throw in.

And when you dive they always give you a yellow card even if you dive with no one next to you lol.

incredibly bad experience on pc (if you own a gamepad), literally have to bend over backwards scouring the ea site to find a fix for it. basically... you can't assign any buttons in the settings unless you have one of the select few "approved" gamepads... what utter bs.

aside from that, improved graphics on the players looks but gameplay remains the same imo but they did add a new keyboard + mouse control feature which i have not used too much

Yeah that was an issue for many people. Lucky I had the rumblepad 2 which is on that list.

Too bad that doesn't help with the pc version being sub standard.

I like it quite a bit, apart from the fact that scoring has become a bit easy.

Very fluid gameplay, like the tackles...
