While I'm not exactly jumping for joy about video making it into DSLRs (I'm still bitter about the demise of the aperture ring), I couldn't stop myself from looking at this.
Photographer Vincent Laforet posted to his blog (http://blog.vincentlaforet.com/2008/09/20/something-very-interesting-is-comingboth-to-this-blog-and-to-our-industry/) some shots that are screen grabs from a short film he made with a pre-production 5DmkII he somehow managed to get his hands on (he explains).
The film was not shown at the time, but it was promised and I see it is now online. Check it out: linky (http://www.usa.canon.com/dlc/controller?act=GetArticleAct&articleID=2086). There's also a lower quality behind the scenes video (http://vincentlaforet.smugmug.com/gallery/6021407_xEg87/1/#378608891_Jd2CT-A-LB).
His website (http://laforetvisuals.com/main.php) is also worth a browse - some nice stuff there.
