View Full Version : Zenitar 16mm F2.8 Fisheye
Anybody got a hookup in Cape Town that has access to these?
Much appreciated.

Why this one, compared to what's available new? I'm just curious?

Its should be half the price if not less then a fisheye for my EOS. Manual focus though. I need to save to build up my lense collection :)

Yeah, they look like fun. I'm perving over the Canon 15mm one myself.
those guys mention an adaptor ring to connect the lens to the body. what is the purpose of that ring?
one of my uncle's has an old canon film camera with a few lenses, would that adaptor allow for those older lenses to connect to a 400D? or will there be some kind of incompatibility issues with those lenses on the digital body?

As far as I can see, the old lenses will be manual focus. I've also got a 400D and will be scouting for goodies this weekend
Lets keep in touch? if you find a nice adapter let me know and I'll do the same.
I really want a nice wide angle lens. The lack of auto focus won't be a issue because of the huge depth of field.

yeah that sounds great man. i've tried a few local camera shops but they dont seem to have any adaptors for me. its pretty dissappointing but i guess it'll only be online.
my uncle might have a wide angle lens or two so if i can find an adaptor it would be great. plus it'll be great practice with manual focus :D
