Hey all i'm trying to connect to a wireless network without using a wireless card but now my question is...

Is the B49G router capable of connecting to other wireless ap's and then bridge that wireless network to my wired network?

If not what can do that? And where can I get it? Price?

Cheers

As far as I know, yes the B49g is capable of doing this, as long as the other AP you wish toassociate with has a WDS option, like the B49g has. Then, you simply fill in the mac address of the opposite AP (ie the other AP has the B49g's mac, and vice versa)

Then you connect one of ports on the B49g's switch to your NIC, and you should have a wireless/wired network between the two spots.

Available from Rectron (if you have an account) and it about R950
