I have an idea how we can solve the population problems.

Baby Permits.

All children are injected at birth with some hormone inhibitor preventing ovulation. So they cannot have any babies.

So when someone does want a baby, they apply to the government for a baby permit and then if approved they give you a tablet which allows ovulation until you get pregnant.

After pregnancy it is back to no ovulation for you!

/ignore the crappy science... what do you think about the idea?
