That South African bouncer in Stargate Atlantis...

I don't know if any of you guys know, but in Stargate season 7 the location of Atlantis is found. So, a few countries send some scientists and military personnel.

South Africa is one of the nations that has sent military support to Atlantis, along with the United States, Japan, Spain, and Russia. Heh.

Occasionally, well, 2 of the last 5 episodes, the South African soldier appears. Everyone has a flag on his shoulder. Of the lead cast, three are Americans (err, playing as Americans in the movie, played by real life Canadians [most of them]), one is Canadian, and the doctor is Scottish.

ANYWAYS, that South African bouncer...

He's guarding the gate room. I don't know if he is a South African actor, but the only odd part is he speaks with a Britishy accent. Not very South African if you ask me.

He doesn't have a familiar face at all - probably not South African. If he speaks with a British accent, then he's probably of British origin anyway - South African accents are pretty distinct and easily acquired, with most expats to this country acquiring the local accent and <i>patois</i> after a few years, unless they force themselves not to...
