A bit of a silly question, but seeing as I haven't had a serious interview yet, I am curious, what happens if your have yourself about 3 interviews lined up?
Let's assume they're all in the same week, and the first one goes really well, surely you can't tell the HR person interviewing you that you'd like to put the contract-signing on hold because you have two more interviews to attend.
Another thing, when you do go for an interview, they don't make you sign then and there right?
Pardon the ignorance:confused:

No matter what happens always ask for a few days to consider the contract unless it's a company you really want to work for no matter what. I would still take a few days to think about it.

Thanks, wasn't sure if you were "allowed" to do that.

You do all 3. Although it went really well for you, you weren't the only applicant. They all probably felt the same :) And it's almost always..."Our HR people will get in touch with you" with the (maybe) final $$ offer etc, so there's no contract signing at interview stage :)

You may have to wait up to two weeks after an interview, before you get an answer!

That's quite a bit of time, but not really so problematic. I suppose if you really blow them away they'll contact you sooner, so time to start preparing.
