Oh, dear Transnet SAA is not doing so well.

I told them ten years ago this would happen - they did not listen.

It's actually quite simple.

10 years ago a round trip to London cost R2800.00 and escalated at a
rate of 15% should cost about R13 000.00 today.

If the only flight out today would cost R13 000.00 travellers would find a way, just like the adsl'ers.

It's the regulators who screwed up [:D]

I do a lot of travelling, so I'm always on the lookout for cheap tickets.

Both Flight Centre and Club Travel have the same special but Club is about R100 more. Obviously there are very limited seats at that price. Give them a call.

pat22, I'm not sure where you live, but I've just remembered that this special is only for departures from Cape Town. BTW, for less than the R5500 you've been quoted, you can get from Cape Town to New York on Lufthansa, via Frankfurt. Ironic.
