So the government has approved a licence issue without a company offering a business plan?? What about consultation periods following the submission of the plan? Surely the communications department and their lawyers need to go though it with a fine toothcomb to ensure it fulfills the SNO requirements set out by government etc..
Oh, and I’ll be very impressed if a consortium who cannot agree and are about to take one another to court can suddenly put together a business plan for a national telephone operator in 15 working days or so.

Nexus was considering court action against the minister of communications relating to the decision to grant 26% stakes to both CommuniTel and Two Consortium.
Padayachee says now that the licence has been awarded, he hopes the need for such legal action will fall away.”</b>
What if Nexus legal position is correct? Oh please. Why not just put a gun to Nexus heads.
I smell something here, and it’s a huge blame shift when things go down the crapper. I hope I am wrong, but it strikes me as though Ivy has run out of time, she knows it (finally) and plan Y seems the best option purely to cover her back.
The lack of media interest since the announcement also points to the fact nobody is expecting anything. I think it was awarded a massive 3 sentences in the Sunday papers.
