GSM VS ADSL AND THE DIFFERENT EQUIPMENT

Hi cosmic warriors and comrades,:)
I am wrestling with the fact of understanding the link between gsm and adsl.
However this is what i understand.
There is a once off set up fee
And per month charge
What you get
adsl handset Adsl Modem
Your own 087 number
Caller id
Voice mail
Call return
Call waiting
Speed dial
Much more.
cost for calls ???????????????

On the gsm front using a router and a sim card cost of calls ?????????
I need to compare the cost of gsm and sim packages to that of adsl and equpiment charges and price diferrances.

ADSL has a fixed monthly cost for the line rental, etc. So a 384K line will cost you about R300 per month, then you pay R80 per GB on top of that.

3G doesn't have a monthly line cost, but the data is about R189 per GB.

Those are the main differences, if you ask me.
