Is it just me or is the speeds not great tonight?
Bandwidth: (Current Downstream: 7.42kb/s ¤ Current Upstream: 34.23kb/s)
It seems wonky don't know why.
I'll try and find out tomorrow.

Since last night i get disconnected... and my speeds are 16kb/s to saix.net... which is pathetic.

When I was using iBurst today, I tested at various times, including SAIX. My speeds averaged around 60KB/s, with the worst being around 30KB/s. However, with SAIX at 30KB/s, I could open more downloads simultaneously and max out the 1Mbps connection - so bandwidth is still there.

Bandwidth: (Current Downstream: 6.18kb/s ¤ Current Upstream: 28.77kb/s)
my speeds are jumping between 25KB/s and 0.
Strange, just last night I was streaming at 1Mbps maxing out the connection from an international site.
Even on Telkom speed test I was getting around 90KB/s.
Often during weekends, WBS perform tests on the network which could disrupt the throughput. I don't know if this was the case during slow times - my contact at WBS is in training.

WBS is currently working on some links. All iBurst testers using accounts starting with "pilot" may experience speed problems. These should be resolved soon.

Anakin any idea what the Iburst modems are going to involve?
is it a modem or a router?
does it have pppoe within it?
sihen

Does anyone know where i can download a good pppoe dialer? i want to install a server with 2000 on and win2000 does not come with a standard pppoe dialer.

I assume you are referring to the fixed modem. As far as I am aware, it has USB and UTP connectivity. There's no router, but it is PPPoE compliant, so one can connect it to a router.
From what I remember, Windows 2000 already has a PPPoE dialer, there is no need for another dialler.

Hokaai ....
Let's slow down here and look at what you're trying to do...
The modem presents itself as an pppoe connection on a local interface only. In other words, you'll not be able to natively access this modem via a network.
Is this what you're trying to do ?
