My E220 just suddenly does not want to conect .

I get the following Error Message :

YOU MUST BE ON THE VODAFONE NETWORK TO MAKE A DATA CONNECTION


Any suggestions will be helpfull.

I know of a bud who's sim got blocked and got that error... something to test maybe?

Have you tried taking it to another part of your home / office, or even a diffrent location all together?

Download the original Huawei software. I had that problem before. It's solved now.

maybe you could download MDMA (stickied in the mtn section) to rule out the software?
this may be easier than going the huawei route.

To be honest, the vodafone software cheeses me off. I only use the software off the Huawei website.

The VMC software works very well for me. I even started using the Usage counter (for testing purposes) and its pretty accurate.

Only thing that would make it complete though is if they had to merge it with Ginggs MDMA application :D
