is it safe to run ddr800 in n motherboard that can only take ddr400 i know it wont run 800mhz just want to know will they work

It's ddr400 and ddr2 800 so yip, you need a new mobo.

For one the DDR2 modules will not fit in the DDR slots. Well maybe if you force it really hard...
