Hi all

I was wondering how I go about setting my iphone up for 3g or Edge so that I can check my email etc when I'm away from my wireless home connection.

Can I do that, as I seem to remember someone saying Virgin doesn't even have 3g.

No, Virgin doesn't have 3G but it does have EDGE. All you do is set the access point as
vdata and check the IPs are zeroed, played with an iPhone a month ago and took a few seconds to guess where it was.

or you can just go to the virgin menu (automatically on your phone once you insert a virgin sim) and select send setting ...then you just follow the prompts and you done !

I don't like the speed of GPRS. I would rather port to Vodacom or MTN...for the benefit of 3G
