Well firstly albie has no clue what he is doing against spin so sending boucher up the order seemed logical to me.

I think ab made his runs upfront because there was a passage of play where they went 50 odd deliveries without a boundry so even ab struggled to score freely i thought.

yeah although I couldnt see the yuvraj wicket, the damm angle either had Steyns ass in front of me or the side of the ball cliped off. He was lucky to get that wicket!

I disagree. I can't think of any other sport's World cup final that is a best of three event. Football has a once-off final, so does rugby. Why should cricket be any different?

1. Gayle has not performed for a few games.. i think there is a good chance he comes thru the next game.
2. Windies have a scary batting order all the way down and its a long way down. When they field half decently its a tight game.(2 batsmen fire and windies are in the final guaranteed, and yes they due for it)
3. SL rely heavily on their top 6 well top 4 batsmen. Go thru the top order fast and they will be found wanting.Same thing for SA!
4. Pakistan while have an excellent bowling attack with Gul, Afriddi and ??can't think of other spinner name, their batsmen have consistently let them down. Against SA it will be differentiating the factor. If batsman x2 come good SA will be in trouble.
5. MMM of SL is not unique, and SA & Pakistan have a similar trio or quad attack(SA). Windies lack a formidable bowling pair even.

All in All based on game performances it will likely be SA vs SL... but pakistan and windies are the teams which are due for some random luck of explosive players. SA is an allround side comapred to the other 3

Well, the formula is based on past scores but not the result. They've derived the formula by looking at past games - this doesn't mean that those games affect the outcome of a particular match where D/L is used.

I think that D/L is okay for 50 over games. I'm not sure that it works or has been properly calibrated for T20 yet.
