Seems like Sony Ericsson, shortly after killing UIQ (their UI for Symbian) is now going for Series60 5th edition (the touch UI from the 5800XM). Initially people wonder if they will go Windows Mobile with the Idou - the worlds first 12megapixel phone, but it seems they are smarter than that ;)

It looks flipping awesome! So gonna try get one next year. 12megapixels.... It doesnt mention if it has any optical zoom though. . . That is the biggest stumbling block for cellphone cameras in my opinion.

Switching from their own created UIQ to the Nokia created S60 Touch is being smarter than Nokia ? :confused:

I am waiting for this phone patiently, apparently Bedforview MTN is getting theirs at the end of November.

I somehow dont know though when you go to Phonegg or Gsmarena they seem to show that the Samsung Omnia is better.

Is the Satio really good? why not N97 or HTC touch pro 2 ?

I like and love the Sony Ericsson software and interface and menus and fuctionallity.
So yeh... beats me a bit...
